I've just tried this. Now, I'm sure Adobe don't want people to use Macromedia-badged products, but it would have been nice to allow a development server, say, to have both versions of CFMX.
Alas, I've now uninstalled both 8 and 7 and then re-installed 8. Hopefully, I'll have better luck this time.
The plain fact is, though, that our e-commerce app (which links to Microsoft Dynamics via webservices) must be able to use CFTHREAD due to the decidedly dodgy architecture of the back-end (which is Dynamics just in case I've lost you).
Now... let's see what's happened this time...
It's being configured... it may take a moment... Yeah, like Photoshop takes a 'moment' to load... Snigger...
Trying to load up CFIDE...
Yay! Got the CFIDE login screen... Now it's updating itself again. Tedious bloody program. This may take a few minutes...
Setup complete. Hallelujah.
Now to set-up all the bloody mappings... Tomorrow methinks.
