Choreography with YouTube's Help

Due to my over-exuberance and desire to try to learn new things, I decided that I wanted to introduce some 'proper' dancing into the Anything Goes duets. How was I going to teach something I had never done? That's the question I asked myself.

Here is where YouTube has been my saviour. There are so many actual dance lessons on there to choose from that I felt spoiled!

For Easy To Love, for example, there is a section marked 'Marimba' in the score. This is, of course, a latin beat. So, I decided that I needed to find some clips of Salsa dancing. Here's one I found:

For It's Delovely, I required a 4-time, slow but graceful dance. Having watched Strictly Come Dancing, I knew exactly what I wanted: the Foxtrot. But could I find something that was simple enough that I could learn and teach from it? Here's what I found

I've thoroughly enjoyed looking for YouTube clips that can be used for this practical purpose. I don't recommend it if you've got a lot of dance experience already, but if, like me, you're a director or choreographer that needs a bit of a leg-up, it's a tool that can't be beaten.
