Natural Instincts' Hot little moment

Finally, I've finished my first chapter. The character of Tom Harker, being an older man, was fairly difficult to create, but I decided that more backstory was the key.

Now, it's time to rewrite my chapter set on the caldera of a volcano. I've chosen to re-research this and have decided to move locations to the Dakataua volcano complex on New Britain Island. I feel a lot better about this chapter this time. With more research comes more realism and the chance to re-balance the chapter to beef up the characters of both my volcanologists.

I've even written in a video conference on the top of the volcano with the Geoscience Australia headquarters in Canberra. So, it's looking good for the eruption which is just about to start happening!
