The great rewrite begins

I decided, having read some of Natural Instincts (my novel-in-progress) that I could do a lot better this time around, ten years later. Ten years since I last wrote a word and I'm finding I'm enjoying as much as always.

I've decided that rather than create a fictional town for the first chapter, I'd actually use a real one and adapt it for my needs. So, I've chosen the rather nicely-named Edenton as the setting. Admittedly, I'm about to fictionally destroy most of the town, so any thoughts of improving tourism or making it seem like a nice place to live are pretty much out the window at this point!
